Does 50% of our turnover have be to SVAT customers in order for us to register as a SVAT supplier ?
I am interpreting the following clause on the IRD site.
(vii) any registered person who supplies any goods or services, to any registered person referred to in sub paragraphs (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v) or (vi), above, provided that the Commissioner General is, on the information available, satisfied that the value of such supplies exceeds fifty per-centum of the total supplies of such registered person who supplies such goods or services.
Most of our customers in the future will be SVAT customers, but at this moment they are not, as our customers have asked us to be SVAT registered in order for us to supply to them.
We have just got VAT registered.
